Obituary of Betty Jean Forte

Betty Jean Whitmore was born in Howard, Arkansas on June 30, 1944, to the late Claudia Mae Duckett and Freddie Lee Whitmore. Betty graduated from JC Cook High School, in Wrightsville, Arkansas. In April 1962 Betty married the late Bob Lee Forte. They moved their family from Little Rock Arkansas to St. Paul Minnesota in 1968. Betty had a kind and caring heart; she cherished the time with her family and friends; her children were the pride of her life. Throughout her life, Betty enjoyed traveling, eating out, cooking, shopping, dancing, and singing to her favorite song “KEEP ON ROLLIN” by King George. For 25 years, Betty worked as a Licensed Foster Care Parent for Ramsey County, providing a loving home for countless children. In her spare time, she enjoyed dedicating her time to volunteering at the YMCA for the Lutheran Social Senior Service program.

Betty leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memories, Daughter Robbin Forte; Sons, Stanley Forte, Steven (Sally) Forte, Robert (Patricia) Forte, all residing in Minnesota; Her Siblings Marjorie Moore of (Los Angeles, CA), Lethed Whitmore, of (St. Paul, MN), Claudette Parker, of (North Little Rock, AR), Lavonne Whitmore, of (Los Angeles, CA), Linnie Ruth Schaefer, (Conway, AR), Clarena Arnick, of (Los Angeles, CA), Ronald Lynn (Lisa) Campbell, of (St. Robert, MO); Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
