Obituary of Lena L. Pollard
(nee Evans) Loving Wife, Mother, Grandma,Sister, Aunt, and Friend. Born to eternal life December 4th, 2012 at the age of 76. Preceded in death by her mother Laura Stamps; father John H. Evans; sister Gloria Martin, and son Charles M. Pollard. Survived by her husband Alton B. Pollard, Jr.; children Alton (Jessica) Pollard III, Donna (Mitchell) Garcia, Kevin (Sylvia) Pollard; grandchildren Alton B. Pollard IV, Thomas Garcia, Asha Pollard, Melissa Garcia, Lena G.T. Pollard, and Kevin T. Pollard; brother Harold Evans; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. She will be missed by many. Visitation will be held Friday, December 7th, 2012 at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 732 W. Central Ave., St. Paul, MN at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Committal Service will directly follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.
