Obituary of Patricia Beverly Traxler

Patricia Beverly Traxler, age 59, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at her home in St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 15 at First Trinity Church of God in Christ, 981 Marshall Avenue at Chatsworth Street, St. Paul, with the Reverend Ronald Fulford, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior th the service at church (10-11 AM). Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be LaSean Braddock, Marcus Page, Marcel Steele, Kendrick Traxler, Willie Lee Traxler, Jr., Ronald Mays, Shane Ransom, Charles Traxler, and Vernon Traxler. Patricia B. "Pat" Traxler was born July 24, 1952 in Magee, Mississippi to Willie Lee and Ellie B. Traxler. Pat was the 4th oldest of 11 children in the Traxler family. She is survived by her siblings: Celestine Banmore, Carolyn Traxler, Willie Ann Page, Elaine (Andrew) Rose, Eula (John) Rundles, Doreen Traxler, Loise Traxler, Willie Lee Traxler, Jr., Phyllis Traxler, and Daniel Traxler. Patricia was a proud graduate of Saint Paul Central High School. After high school, Pat worked at various businesses around the Twin Cities. She was the faithful and devoted mother of 7 children: Tyce, Perlena, Kendrick, Justin, Mario, Andrea, and Tiffany (Deonte). She was the proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren. Pat was a remarkable woman and the matriarch of her family. She touched the lives of many people in the community with her compassion and generosity. Pat was non-judgemental with all who crossed her path. She welcomed and befriended everyone who crossed her threshold. She was your friend and greatest advocate, even in your darkest hours. She enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family, laughing and having fun. Patricia passed away peacefully on February 8, 2012, surrounded by her chilldren and grandchildren. She will live in peace for eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She proceeded into eternity and now has been reunited with her parents, Willie Lee and Ellie B. Traxler; Aunt Sara Traxler; nephews, Roosevelt Jermaine Traxler and Kennon Johnson. Pat will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the pleasure to encounter her gracefulness.
