Obituary of Herbert James Jackson

Herbert James Jackson Jr, was born March 29, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri to his surviving parents Herbert James Sr. and Kathyrn Wyona Jackson. To their union was born 2 siblings, Herbert James Jr. the eldest child and Tommy Charles Jackson. Herbert met the love of his life Mentoria Taylor in Kansas City, Missouri around March of 1982. They knew immediately that they were destined to be together! So with that being said, they joined in Holy Matrimony July 16, 1982. To this union was born 3 children, Herbert 3rd,Jerome, and Jamal Jackson. In October of 1987, they moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. Herbert Jr. was a dedicated husband, son and father. He loved to spend time with his wife and children. He was a very confidential and private individual but yet, still found time to share his love and concerns with others. He was honorably discharged after serving 3 years in the United States Army. Herbert Jr. definitely had a relationship with the Lord. He was a member of Deeper Life Bible Church of St. Paul, MN. Herbert James Jr. was called to be with the Lord December 22, 2012. He leaves to cherish his memories, his lovely wife of 30 years Mentoria Jackson; 3 sons Herbert 3rd,Jerome, and Jamal Jackson(St. Paul, MN). A loving father and mother, Herbert James Sr. and Kathyrn Wyona Jackson( Kansas City, MO). A brother Tommy Charles Jackson (San Diego, CA). He also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11am Thursday, Janury 3rd at the Spielman Mortuary. Visitation from 10-11am. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
