Obituary of Cahlina Nadinah Fairfield

Cahlina Nadinah Fairfield, 2 1/2 month-old daughter of Curtis Fairfield and Charlene Flowers, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Children's Hospital of St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 7 at River of Life Christian Church, 739 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, with the Reverend Carolyn Berry, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service (1-2 PM). Private Interment. Cahlina Nadinah Fairfield was born to Curtis Fairfield and Charlene Flowers on October 7, 2011. She was a bright, beautiful, and strong baby with lots of hair. She loved to be held and kissed, receiving many of those. She loved her teddy bears, especially her pony. She would hold it in her arms firmly and between her knees. She was most at peace when her teddy bears were with her. Although her life was brief, she left a lasting impact on everyone who cared for her in any way. Cahlina leaves to cherish her memory: parents, Curtis Fairfield and Charlene Flowers; siblings, Sziria Flowers, Kairah Fairfield, amd Mariana Fairfield; grandparents, Vivian Flowers and William Davidson, Sr., and Wanda Fairfield; great-grandparents, Herbert and LeLa Pitts; aunts, Narissa Jones, Nadia Barber, and Nicole Heggens (Lathan); uncles, Anthony Fairfield, Derrick Skinner, William Davidson, Jr., and Sean Cole; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, family, and friends. The family wishes to thank the specialty doctors from Gillette Children's Hospital for their hard work and dedication; special thanks to the nurses and doctors from Children's Hospital (NICU), heartfelt appreciation to Renee, Michelle, April, and Ruth for their compassion and being friends; thanks to social worker and counselor, Linda Copper, for her help and support; and special thanks to Pastor Carolyn Berry, Pastor Ernest Collins, Elder Steven Brown and all the members of River of Life Christian Church, family, and friends for their love, support and prayers.
