Obituary of Kimberly Hope Mattix

It is with great sadness that the family of Kimberly Hope Mattix announces her passing after a long fight with illness on Monday December 23, 2019, at the age of 44. Kimberly will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ivory (Jasmine), Shaquila, Shaniqua, Jessica and Jesse Jr.; her mother, Leona; her siblings, Leroy (Laura), Angel (Wolf), Faith, Leanna, Quinton, Christopher (Keiona), Leanna and Tiffany; sisters-in-law, Jeanelle, Michelle; and bestie, Katina. Kimberly will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Tremayne, La’niyah and Riley, her special friend and companion Cj; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and the homeboys. Kimberly was preceded in death by her finance, Jesse Foster; her father, Ivory Ford Sr.; her granddaughter, Alayah Navaah McClenton; grandparents, Howard & Vivian Stephans, Lucille Spelman; and mother-in-law, Stelola Foster. A memorial service in memory of Kimberly will be held on 3:00 p.m. Saturday January 4, 2020 at the Spielman Mortuary, 344 University Ave, St. Paul.
