Obituary of Johanna Hanna Martin

Beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. Age 82, departed this life peacefully and gracefully on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012 in the home and arms of God and her family. Johanna H. Martin was the daughter of Georg and Katharina Hassfurther born January 11, 1930 in Bamberg, Germany. She resided in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota during her last days of life. She grew up in Bamberg, Germany and traveled to Fort Yates, North Dakota at an early age and later resided in St. Paul (West Side and West St. Paul). She reared nine children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and made many friends along her life journey. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; sisters; brothers; and daughters Phyllis and Michelle. She leaves to cherish her memory; sisters Karola and Auguste; brother Karlheinz; children, Linda Clark, Rom Clark, Cynthia (Timothy) Jackson, John (Carol) Martin, Mikel Martin, Anthony (Rochelle) Martin, Carrie (Garry) Fisher of Florida, and Angela Martin; 27 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; mother-in-law Marcela Martin; and sister-in-law Sheleen (Calvin) Coleman.
