Obituary of Frezell Young
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Frezell Young 62, of Robbinsdale MN. Passed away on August 7, 2022, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. “Free” was not only a father but also a brother and a dear friend.
Frezell was born to Lonnie and Rachel Young in St, Paul, MN on December 6, 1960, He was the fourth of five boys. Frezell graduated from Murray High School in 1978 and earned his Bachelor of Science in secondary education with an emphasis in Business at Doane University in Crete Nebraska.
Frezell lost his battle against Multiple Sclerosis. He lived with this disease for the last twelve years of his life. He battled MS with the most amazing grace, bravery, and strength. He lived every day with positivity and determination not to let the disease keep him down.
Frezell had two children son Alexander and daughter Breanna that were his greatest joy of being a father with his ex-wife Cynthia. He enjoyed Sci-Fi television shows and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, football team.
Frezell Young is preceded in death by parents Lonnie and Rachel W. Young, Tommy Lee Wells (Brother), Richard McCree (Brother) Beverly Johnson (Sister)
Two children survive Frezell, Alexander Young of Chicago IL, and Breanna Young of St. Paul MN; brothers Bernard (Linda)Hampton of Woodbury, MN, Elder John (Pamela) Young of Brooklyn Park, MN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His family wishes to extend a special thanks to the resolute staff of Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Good Samaritan Home Care, and to all that sent condolences, prayers, and calls.
Service will be held for Frenzell at 12Noon Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Spielman Mortuary, 344 University Ave W., St. Paul, 651-222-6363, with the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
