Obituary of Pastor Patricia Ann Johnson

Pastor Patricia Ann Johnson age 68 of Maplewood passed away on August 29th, 2020. She was born on November 22, 1951, in St. Paul, MN to the proud and late parents of Jannie Ethel Johnson and Carl Powell. She was the third child of four siblings – her late brother John Johnson and survived by her two sisters, Lucille Johnson and Darlene Moore. Patricia went on to marry and was survived by her four children and 16 grand and great-grandchildren; son Marcell Johnson (partner Michelle – children Karissa {great Levi}, Marc {great Malaya}, Tyreese, Erin), daughter Sahani Windom (spouse Corey – children Marcell {great Kaliegha, Zedekya, Zayvion}, SahCorra, Marley), daughter Roshelle Giles (partner Ernest – children Zharea, Janie), and daughter Elisabeth Giles (children Azariah, Audra). Pastor Patricia received Christ Jesus on February 5, 1977 at 3:30am, where she was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues with signs and wonders following. She was a dedicated servant of our Lord Jesus Christ from that day on until she passed over to meet her maker, on August 29, 2020. Patricia dedicated her life and ministry to teaching, preaching, counseling, instructing and exhorting in God’s infallible word. Studying at Oral Roberts University, The Army of the Lord Bible College and Regent University, Patricia grew into her calling of the ministry where she became an ordained minister. When she wasn’t ministering, you’d find her behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle as a professional driver for Metro Transit, Laidlaw Transportation and Greyhound Bus Company. Driving was always a passion she enjoyed and was studying to gain her license to operate an 18 wheeler. Patricia loved to travel, take road trips and relax with a movie and some popcorn. She immensely enjoyed being a grandmother and having her family together, gathered around a table for dinner and for fellowship. Her teaching and prayer ministry will survive her, through all the lives she was able to impact and love on during her time here on Earth. “There’s only one message for those that are not right, need to get ready!
