Obituary of Della Mae Vernell

Della Mae Vernell, age 89 of Saint Paul, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, October 17 at Unity Baptist Church, 118 N. Victoria Street, St. Paul, with the Reverend Ronald Smith, officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Monday at the church (10 AM-Noon.) Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Mrs. Vernell was preceded in death by her husband, Eligah; sons, Jacob and Elroy; daughter, Stacy; parents; four sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Della Branson and E.J. Donaldson; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Byrdie Scroggins, Bertha Givins, and Ione Wiley; also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the Spielman Mortuary.
