Obituary of Kenneth Lamont Halk

Kenneth Lamont Halk age 68 of Minneapolis passed away on August 21, 2020. Kenneth was born to Arizona Vaughn and David Alexander on August 06, 1951 in Wynne, Arkansas. He lived in Arkansas until 1974 when he relocated to Minnesota with his family. Kenneth pursued a career as a CNA and worked as a nursing assistant until he retired. Kenneth loved his family and his children, he liked to hang out with his brothers Jr., Yang and Michael. Anyone that knew Kenneth knew he was a sweet loving man, he would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar because he had a huge heart. Kenneth was called home on August 21, 2020. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Kenneth is survived by his sisters Martha (George) Ferrell, Burnell Price, Dolly Kohene, Thelma (Greg) Hunter, brothers Tommie Vaughn, Calvin Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, sons Kenneth Halk Jr., Marvin Halk, daughters Dana Grealish, Alicia (Navarre) Bibbs, Kendra Halk, Tess (LaShone) Patterson, and a long list of nieces and nephews and grandkids. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Arizona Vaughn and David Alexander, brothers Floyd Price, James Price, Roy Price and his son Mark Halk. Service 1:00 p.m. Friday September 4th at the Spielman Mortuary, 344 W. University Ave., St. Paul, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service (12:00 - 1:00 p.m.).
