Obituary of Harold Vincent Dickens

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the tragic passing of Harold V Dickens (Vince), who left us on the morning of Monday, March 8, 2021 at the age of 49. Heartbroken does not begin to describe how we feel right now. While we are all coping with disbelief, we deeply appreciate the support from those that have reached out. Harold was full of joy and energy, always finding a way to make others around him laugh. If you know him, you know he was the BBQ master and had many phrases that will be remembered and replayed. “Really!” While nobody likes to talk about life after death, Harold had many wishes for his home going celebration. It is Harold’s desire and our mission, to lay him to rest with his mother, Miss Ruby Dickens, who passed away many years ago. Harold and Miss Ruby will be buried together in their hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Harold leaves behind a loving wife, 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 20th at House of Praise Church of God In Christ, 1115 Greenbrier St., St. Paul, 55106. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church (12:00 - 1:00 p.m.).
