Obituary of Marvin Lee Bobo

Marvin Lee Bobo Jr. “Chief Ikky” June 14, 1988 – July 30, 2020 Marvin Jr. leaves behind a legacy. He was a son, a father, a brother and an uncle. Marvin was a friend to many. He passed at the age of 32 years young. He loved sports. He was a believer in God and Jesus Christ. Marvin faced many battles in his 32 years on earth with us. Marvin loved his family. He had a giving heart and a survivor’s mentality. Marvin was a strong man both mentally and physically. He now rests, awaiting the return of our Savior. He is survived by a daughter, Amariana; parents, Marvin Bobo Sr. and Eammy Wright-Wheeler; brothers, John “Woogie” Gaines, Tu’Quan Smith, Zachary Bobo, Marquees Johnson-Bobo, Virgil Smith, DaVonta Bobo and Jevon Bobo; 16 nieces and nephews; 9 uncles and 9 aunties. Jeremiah 29:11: For the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Psalms 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and no death shall be no more. Neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore. For the former things have passed away.
