Annie Bell Banks, known to most as Sista, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at the age of 81. Born in Clarksdale, MS, Annie Bell was the oldest of 15 siblings born to the late Sylvester and Annie B. Banks on February 15, 1939. Annie Bell was known for her classy style, beautiful smile and her no-nonsense temperament. Annie Bell leaves to cherish her love and legacy: (7) daughters, Loretta, Claudette, Desiree, Sabrina, Eileen (Serge), Claudine (Greg), Geraldine; daughter Lucretia preceded her in death; (2) sons, Selvin (Nita), Nathaniel; sons Demetrius and Lenail preceded her in death; (5) sisters, Genevieve, Penny, Yvonne, Earlene (Charles), Deloris (Richard); sisters, Ida Bee, Lorraine, Mary, and Estelle preceded her in death; (1) brother, Earl; brothers Eddie Bee, Sylvester, Casey, and Leonard preceded her in death. (26) grandchildren—(2) preceded her in death; (20) great-grandchildren; (3) great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
