Obituary of General Lynn Wade

General Lynn Wade age 64 of Saint Paul passed away on February 20, 2020. He was born on December 11, 1955 to the late Frank Leon Wade, Jr. and Freida Annette Wade in Peoria, Illinois. General was the second oldest of 12 siblings. He attended and graduated from Manual High School in Peoria, Illinois. General worked at Control Data for several years and Metro Transit (MTC) for 27 years, until his retirement. He loved playing cards, dominos and spending time with his family. General is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Freida Wade; stepmother, Ann Wade; brother, Frank Leon Wade III. He leaves to cherish his memories, five sons, Tavares James Wade, Levares Antwan Pearson, Jamal Tavares Pearson (Brianna), Dimitri Harrell, and Martavis Douglas; ten grandchildren, Jaeden Wade, Jaquin Wade, Malena Wade, Tailon Wade, Raeona Brown, Alysianna Whittles, Cameron Jamal Pearson, Da’mi Donte Wade, Da’mya Nicole Wright, Damirria Shanta-Renee Harrell; six sisters, Veronica Walker, Cynthia Carter (James), Kimberly Pack (Nero), Lisa Parker, Adriaine Wade, and Jacqueline Grippe (William); one sister-in-law, Juanita Wade; four brothers, Andre Wade (Shernece), Jason Austin (Angel), Bradford McNabb and Dondrell Agnew (Brianne); also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and lifetime friends. Service 12:00 p.m. Saturday February 29th at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 501 Lawson Ave. W., Saint Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church (11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.). Private inurnment.
