I too had the pleasure to work with Roger on his trips down to Mankato. It made my day to see him stroll in to help us out. I enjoyed his calm demeanor and the way he talked about his family. It was always one of his favorite conversations. It was obvious that he was so proud of his family. This world needed a lot more Roger Russells. Just wanted to let his family know that he was a good man and he will be missed. God Bless you Roger.

I had the opportunity to work with Roger (Moby) for 3 years at Staples / Corporate Express. He made frequent trips down to Mankato to work on furniture projects with me. I enjoyed the many conversations we had while driving to job sites. Roger always had great stories to tell. We talked about cars sports and our families. At Christmas time he would always tell me about his struggles with a mechanical rain deer out in the front yard. He would imitate how the deer’s head would move up and down and then lock up. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with Roger.

Moby was an amazing man. I was so lucky to have been apart of his family for so many years. I will always remember the little talks he had with me and the advice he gave me. I loved bbqs or holidays with him. He would always make me laugh so hard I would leave with my tummy hurting so bad from laughing so hard. The harder I would laugh the harder he would laugh. He received joy out of making someone laugh. He had such an amazing sense of humor. He was also an amazing cook and awesome on the grill. He saw the beauty in everything...even his ugly feet that his son was so blessed to receive. Lol. He was proud of those feet and would sometimes go with his wife to get them smoothed out and looking the best they could. The love he showed his granddaughter was admirable. From a very young age when we would go over to visit my daughter would go snuggle with him in his bed and watch movies. When we were outside he would show her some of his awesome dance moves. She loved her grandpa dearly and he loved her so much too. I also loved watching him with his wife....he loved her so much. There relationship reminded me of my grandma and grandpa's relationship who were married for almost 70 years until they passed away. They didn't hide that they had problems but no matter what they loved each other and that was unbreakable, you do not see that love very often these days...people are ready to give up over an argument. There love was strong and they would bicker at each other and it was actually funny to see. No relationship is perfect...in the end they loved each other to the fullest and were there for each other no matter what. Moby was also a father to not only his 3 children ..he was there for so many others....many of his kids friends looked up to him as there father figure. He was an amazing man and I am so blessed to have gotten to know him for so many years. Heaven received one of the kindest funniest men I know. RIH Moby...we love u so much!!

My fishing buddy, friend, and brother-In-Law is now fishing with his love ones in heaven. Last year when me and Moby went fishing he gave me a fishing bobber he kept for years. It was the same type my Mom and Stepfather always used when we went fishing. I was telling Moby how I missed that bobber and can't find it anywhere. Moby then gave me the one he had for many years and that my mom had gave him. I told Moby I will never use it because it mean so much. Now that fishing bobber will remind me of Moby, my Mom and Stepfather. I will miss you buddy and I hope you are sitting on a lake fishing with all your lost love ones, and relatives that we all have lost. RIP Moby. Rickey, Sonya & Samantha Johnson.

Roger was the definition of a man. The best father figure in real life that I have ever seen! It’s like he never got tired of loving. He was a man that didn’t have to show off, he was confident in who he was and very certain of who he loved, his family. He was a kind soul with the right intentions. A strong leader filled with grace.
