Obituary of Margaret Vennesta Brazil

MARGARET VENNESTA LEE BRAZIL WAS BORN ON MAY 29, 1922 IN SALLISAW, OKLAHOMA TO THE LATE COLUMBUS AND CORA MAY LEE. BORN INTO AN ABUNDANCE OF LOVE, SHE WAS THE YOUNGEST OF 18. MARGARET MOVED TO CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA WHERE SHE LATER MET AND FELL IN LOVE WITH WILLARD BRAZIL SR. MARGARET AND WILLARD BRAZIL SOON RELOCATED TO SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA TO WHICH TWO CHILDREN WERE BORN INTO THEIR UNION (WILLARD BRAZIL JR. AND TIMOTHY BRAZIL). MARGARET RETIRED FROM STAR LAUNDRY AND BECAME A HOMEMAKER. SHE WAS A LOVING WIFE AND MOTHER WHO ENJOYED GARDENING, TRAVELING, FISHING, KNITTING AND FAMILY GATHERINGS. WITH THE HOLIDAYS BEING HER FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR, SHE LOVES SPENDING TIME WITH HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS. MARGARET BELONG TO THE REGALETTES CLUB, MADE UP OF THOSE WHO WANTED TO BETTER THE COMMUNITY. FROM GARDEN PARTIES AND GALAS TO THE INFAMOUS RONDO DAYS PARADE. MARGARET SOLIDIFIED HER ROLE IN HELPING THE COMMUNITY WITHIN UNPRECEDENTED FLAIR. WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE THAT COULD LIGHT UP A ROOM, MARGARET WAS A GENUINE AND CARING WOMAN THAT YOU HARDLY EVER HEARD COMPLAIN. SHE SPENT THE LATTER PART OF HER LIFE SURROUNDED BY LOVE AND GRACE. MARGARET PASSED AWAY SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2019 AT AGE 97 AND IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY WILLARD BRAZIL SR, SON WILLARD BRAZIL JR. AND HER GRANDDAUGHTERS DANEENA BURKS AND ALICIA BRAZIL. MARGARET IS SURVIVED BY HER YOUNGEST SON TIMOTHY BRAZIL AND DEVOTED DAUGHTER-IN-LAW ETHEL BRAZIL, GRANDCHILDREN, GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN AS WELL AS A HOST OF NIECES AND NEPHEWS. SERVICE 11:30 a.m. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3rd AT SPIELMAN MORTUARY, 344 W. University Avenue, St. Paul. INTERMENT AT FORT SNELLING NATIONAL CEMETERY. VISITATION ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE (10:30 - 11:30 a.m.).
